The statue of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema, is yet to be installed in any state of India. Today, the film industry celebrates 112 years of cinema, but his image is not widely represented in film halls, studios, or homes of industry professionals. These points were raised during the event. However, it was promised by all the esteemed dignitaries present, including MPs, Ministers, and State representatives, that Dadasaheb Phalke’s statue will soon be installed in various states, including a 9-foot statue in Guwahati, Assam, supported by Shri Rameshwar Teli Ji and Shri Lord Das Ji. This marks a significant step for the film industry and DPIAF.
